Wagner is on a beautiful 110-acre campus in Staten Island, NY, only a ferry ride away from New York City. We offer shuttle services to the ferry station, which, along with the ferry, is free. Our campus is conveniently located near the entire top NYC fencing clubs. But the real Wagner advantage is in our education and career placement. With the help of experienced staff our student athletes are able to succeed not only on the fencing strip but also in the professional world. While our majors are outstanding we have two top ranked programs, our Theater and Physician Assistant. All majors require internships for the professional development. We ensure student athletes are prepared for the real world following their graduation.
Team Info:
We are a Division I NCAA program part of the Mid-Atlantic/South region, which is one of the strongest regions in collegiate fencing. We fence against top schools during the collegiate season. Wagner Fencing gets excellent support from our university. We have laundry services for both uniforms and Wagner supplied practice gear, our athletes have high academic support if they need tutors, travel letters or class projects. We have a varsity weight room with full time staff dedicated to shape specific programs to improve the capabilities of our fencers. On the scholarship side, as a Division I program, we offer academic scholarships and athletic based on the student’s merit.
