Temple is an excellent university and has a lot to offer a student, both academically as well as athletically. The University has 125 undergraduate majors and the 13 Schools and Colleges within the University are well known and respected throughout the country. Temple also has an Undergraduate Honors Program for academically talented students as well as a full range of accredited professional schools for graduate study. Although Temple is a large, comprehensive research institution, the average class size is only 27. In addition, Temple offers an excellent Academic Scholarship Program.

During the 2016-17 season, the Temple Owls were 34-9 in dual meets and had two representatives selected to the NCAA Championships, including one Honorable Mention All-American. The Team was ranked in the Top 10 in every poll throughout the season, finishing tied for eighth in the final poll of the year. The Owls also captured their 21st straight NIWFA Championship.
